For the past month, I have been participating in a womens’ wellness challenge.
We were encouraged to set goals, but not just big lofty goals. Our goals had to be specific and measurable. It is one thing to say you want to feel more balanced in life, but how do you get there?
Do you get there by forcing yourself to wake up 10 minutes earlier each morning for a little quiet time? Or do you spend the last 10 minutes before bedtime reading — without distractions?
Maybe your balance is achieved by making a habit of saying “Good Morning” — before you speak any other words?
Could it be that by slowing down and making the conscious effort to appreciate your own hard work and of those around you, you reach equilibrium?
I love this quote by Voltaire because it reminds us to appreciate others just when we might to start feeling unappreciated ourselves.

All we need is one such gentle tap on our shoulders like “Nice work, buddy!”, “Way to go, dude!”. Start applying this magic from your own home and spread this wherever possible like from your office, child, neighbours etc.
