It isn’t cancer.
It is not diabetes.
It is cardiovascular disease (including strokes).
This month is American Heart Month. You will more than likely see fundraising efforts at work, at school and in your community. You may be asked to wear red today to show your support and to start moving!
According to the American Heart Association, 70% of us do not get the recommended of level of physical activity each week. We, at WellJourn, believe activity should be part of everyone’s journey.
And to help you, we are giving away an Accusplit Pedometer!
Subscribe to our email list during the month of February and you’ll be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win! Current subscribers are already entered. Limit one entry per subscriber. Winner will be randomly drawn and contacted via email on March 1. Good luck!
How do you use a pedometer? Put it on before you leave the house and see how many steps you take during a regular day. Then keep wearing it every day and try to beat the previous days total, gradually working your way up to the recommended 10,000 steps!

What a GREAT give away, for a great cause! I cannot believe that stat, 70% is HIGH!

What a wonderful thing you are doing here! My daughter’s school had yesterday a day dedicated to American Heart Association! They were giving out free pedometers to all the students as an indiscreet push to go out there and MOVE! And how strange things work, my son’s latest Pokémon DS game has this little ‘Poke ball” thingy that comes with the game and more steps you make more bonuses you get! (At least this is how I understood his explanation!) Thank you for the encouragement to move more 🙂

This is awesome! I worked for the American Heart Association right out of college and saw them do wonderful things to get our culture more active. Way to support a great cause!

Thank you for the opportunity to win this! A pedometer is a great way to keep people motivated. When they see how far they walked one day, they will naturally want to beat it the nest. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope I win 🙂

Thanks Tiffany! 70% is high and I know how easy it is to fall into that category!

Mateja, “poke ball”? That sounds pretty cool! I’m all for an entertainment game that encourages children to move.

Thank you. 🙂 I think the Go Red campaign is one of the best!

You’re welcome! This pedometer is great! I have an Accusplit in white and love it. I agree, whenever I wear it I try to beat the previous day’s steps. Good luck!
